Prices-Renown Geared Rotary Pumps are ideal for handling oil, brine, honey, molasses, and a range of other industrial fluids. These pumps are available in multiple sizes, with or without a relief valve, and in a variety of material finishes to suit your application.

• Oil pumps feature a relief pocket machined into the side cover, are equipped with brass glands and lock nuts, but normally do not require lubrication provisions.
• Honey pumps are designed with relief pockets and are equipped with bushings that do not require lubrication.
• Brine pumps are equipped with bushes that do not require lubrication and a relief valve with an external bypass.
• Cast iron pumps are widely utilised for pumping hot fats.

Vee pulleys and belts, electric on petrol engines, direct coupling on tractor power, take off shaft using Price's power take off bracket.

Speed

Maximum life will be obtained if the pump is run at approximately 600 RPM. Maximum speed is 1,000 RPM.

Gland

Packed with 3/16"gland packing.

Special models

Available for pumping oil, brine, honey, and other liquids on application. The 1" model is also available in "Ni-Resist" iron.

Internal Relief valve

Each size comes with an adjustable relief valve cover that allows liquid to bypass back to the pump suction internally.

Pressure range: 138 kPa - 690 kPa (20 - 100 PSI).

These pumps can also be supplied on special order with relief valve covers that discharge externally.

When running under load, pumps should be greased regularly, at least every hour, with one of the lubricants recommended by the following oil companies:
